Scope of services

EXPERT customs agency services

We handle goods from every industry — from trading and manufacturing companies to private individuals.

Customs clearance

Import, export and transit — at customs offices and approved places throughout Poland.

Import clearance (release for free circulation)

Full import handling, including release for free circulation with import VAT settled directly in the VAT return under art. 33a of the Polish VAT Act.

Export clearance

Export declarations handled quickly and efficiently, right after the goods are presented.

T1 / T2 transit

Transit procedure handling in Poland and abroad (by prior arrangement), with duties secured under our comprehensive guarantee.

Clearance at an approved place

We clear goods at our agency’s approved place and at a one-off approved place on the client’s premises — useful for oversized cargo, among others. For regular clients we help obtain a standing authorisation for an approved place at their own site.

TIR carnets

We handle TIR carnets for carriage to and from countries outside the European Union.

Vehicle clearance for individuals

Importing a car from the USA or another country? We handle customs clearance of vehicles, including for private individuals.

Special procedures

We specialise in every customs procedure — including those that let you defer or reduce duties.

Customs warehousing

Handling of the customs warehousing procedure — goods stay uncleared until they are released for free circulation.

Inward and outward processing

Procedures for goods that are processed, repaired or finished — within Poland (inward) and outside the EU customs territory (outward).

Temporary admission

Temporary import of goods with total or partial relief from duties — e.g. machinery, equipment, trade-fair goods.

Temporary storage

Handling temporary storage declarations for goods awaiting a customs-approved treatment or use.

Re-import and re-export

Handling returning goods — re-import (with relief from duties where the conditions are met) and re-export.

End-use

The end-use procedure — a reduced duty rate for goods used for a specific purpose.

Classification, advisory & authorisations

The knowledge and formalities that help you avoid costly mistakes and delays.

Tariff classification and BTI

Determining the correct tariff code for your goods and support in obtaining Binding Tariff Information (BTI).

Customs advisory

Support in choosing procedures, determining the customs status of goods and alternative ways of discharging declarations. We also advise on ATA carnets, which the trader obtains directly from the Polish Chamber of Commerce.

Authorisations, guarantees and statuses

We help obtain authorisations for special procedures, guarantees securing duties (individual and comprehensive), as well as REX and authorised importer status.

Corrections, appeals and proceedings

We file applications to amend customs declarations, appeals against decisions of the customs and tax authorities, and pursue cases through to court proceedings.

CE marking and non-tariff requirements

Advisory on product safety and conformity with the relevant EU directive for goods placed on the European market.

Certificates of origin (EUR.1, A.TR)

Obtaining and handling movement certificates and proof-of-origin documents.

Taxes & reporting

Customs-related settlements under control.

VAT under art. 33a (settled in the return)

Setting up and handling import VAT settled directly in the VAT return. Settlement is automatic based on the SAF-T file (the standard audit file for tax), and we make sure each period is correct.

Fiscal representation

Available subject to individual arrangements — a complex area we approach case by case.

Excise duty

Excise is a very broad area. We define the scope depending on the specific declarations and procedures.

INTRASTAT

Preparation of INTRASTAT declarations for the movement of goods within the European Union.

What we do not do

We value clarity, so let us be upfront:

  • We do not run our own temporary storage facility or public customs warehouse — but we do handle these procedures at our partners’ warehouses and depots.
  • We do not specialise in e-commerce (small courier consignments) — that is the domain of courier companies’ agencies.
  • We do not obtain sanitary, veterinary or phytosanitary certificates, handle vehicle type-approval or file CBAM reports — on these matters we can, however, advise you and point you in the right direction.
